There really should be more about this. It was a huge deal. Ahold had to sell off its Middle-Eastern business to make up for loss. This makes it sound like their sale to the private investment firm was just routine business. Ahold lost 2/3 of its stock value due to fraud on the part of USF. The company name changed from U.S. Foodservice to US Foods on Sept 26, 2011. Looking forward to help making the content correct and up-to-date
