Tami brothers may not have been founders of the original "Tokyo Television Acoustic Company"
[edit]The book: "Tascam: 30 Years of Recording Evolution" By Randy Alberts (page 15) states that Katsuma Tani worked for the "Tokyo Television Acoustic Company". This implies that he was not a founder of this original company. The book goes on to state that Katsuma's interest in reel-to-reel tape recorders started in 1956 when his brother Tomoma Tani brought home a hand made 3-motor, 3 head stereo tape recorder. Start?
[edit]I(born 1950) acquainted TEAC in the first place as a producer of computer devices (floppy disk devices}. And I had to conclude that these devices had excellent quality. I also now have to conclude that that devices don't exist anymore.

Concertone?
[edit]Why doesn't this article mention that Teac marketed under the name "Concertone" in the U.S. (and probably other English-speaking countries) in the 1950s and 1960s? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.38.160.5 (talk) 16:28, 13 July 2020 (UTC)
