Ken Williams as waitor?

[edit]

The waitor in the cover-photo looks like Ken Williams, Roberta Williams husband and creator of Sierra. I would note this in the article but I cant confirm it's really him. Fred26 16:28, 8 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I knew Ken Williams around that time, and I'm pretty sure that's NOT him on the picture. Applegamer 20:16, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I added details about the cover to the article. I hope that clears things up. — Frecklefσσt | Talk 16:50, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
In this interview [[1]], the game author confirms it was a local waiter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.47.25.98 (talk) 20:14, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Softporn Adventure (video game).jpg

[edit]

Image:Softporn Adventure (video game).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Softporn in first Time Magazine article about computer software

[edit]

Don't know about the "first", but the reference about the sofware appearing in the first Time magazine article on computer software, is probably a reference to this Time magazine article. Software for the Masses By Kenneth M. Pierce;Michael Moritz/San Francisco Monday, Oct. 05, 1981 http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,921076-1,00.html#ixzz0heDj3LkC —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.57.38.153 (talk) 03:56, 9 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I added it to the article. Too bad the article isn't in print layout form in the archive. — Frεcklεfσσt | Talk 11:07, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A potential source

The Atlantic did a nice article on this game which could make for some expansion potential. ViperSnake151  Talk  16:12, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
