Merger Proposal
[edit]I propose that Tussock Pond, Delaware be merged into Portsville, Delaware. Tussock Pond is an actual pond, and not an unincorporated community, located in the unincorporated community of Portsville. As there is very limited information on either article at this time, it would be easy to merge the two as there is unlikely to be any significant information found on the notability of Tussock Pond on its own. For example, here is a DNREC pdf on Tussock Pond, please note that the state document shows Tussock Pond as being an 8.6 acre pond in Portsville. - Additional information: (http://www.denin.udel.edu/news/dnrec-six-downstate-ponds-be-treated-aquatic-nuisance-weed) University of Delaware article on treating ponds in lower Delaware, refers to Tussock Pond as a pond near Laurel (also links to a DNREC press release stating the same). As well as (http://www.dnrec.state.de.us/fw/fishmapb.pdf) DNREC fishing map with section titled Division of Fish & Wildlife Non-Tidal Fishing Access Areas which lists Tussock Pond as a 9 acre pond near Portsville.
