Creating an Air Force Major Generals list

[edit]

I'd like to help with that since it hasn't been done yet. I'm not good at designing pages, but I have a pretty comprehensive list. It doesn't Include National Guard or Special Corps (Medical, Judicial, or Chaplain corps) appointees. And I also haven't figured out if all the Space Force appointees are officially part of the Space Force. And there are also many new pending appointments recently announced (not included on this list). But hopefully this can be a start:

@EPMen:, it looks like a list of AF MGs is already in the works. (fyi) - wolf 00:33, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@EPMen:, this helps a treat! Thanks very much! SuperWIKI (talk) 09:18, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
SuperWiki: Do you plan to do a list of Brigadier General/ Rear Admirals (LH)s or is that too ambitious? If so, I have starting points. (-EPMen) — Preceding unsigned comment added by EPMen (talkcontribs) 17:05, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Too ambitious, too many for right now. That's the sort of thing others will need to maintain long after the page is completed, even if I create the page. I won't do it yet, not for a few months at least. Feel free to add the lists to my talk page.SuperWIKI (talk) 21:25, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Was wondering that myself, but was gonna wait awhile before asking as there is still work going into the 2-star lists. A full listing of all the 1-star positions/officers, (if possible), would indeed be impressive and a great addition to the project. - wolf . Y920:59, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Service branch column

[edit]

Wouldn't the service branch column be unnecessary in a list like this because it is service-branch specific? I would assume it would be appropriate for lists that includes other services, but in this case, where it is already a necessary qualification to be in the U.S. Army in order to be in this list, I think it becomes redundant.--KingEdinburgh (talk) 10:29, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I was matching it with the in-progress Air Force list since it also includes Air Force officers in the Space Force. Based both from copying over the three-star and four star formats. With the widths of the tables already being wildly inconsistent (see Joint Staff section), I thought it best to leave it for now. SuperWIKI (talk) 10:55, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
