Sorting

[edit]

You can sort the table by name, date, etc., by simply clicking the icon to the right of the name of the column you want to use. Clicking it a second time reverses the sort order, from ascending to descending.

The only fly in the ointment is that, since dates are not entered in a standard format, some (the most recent) entries 'fall through' to the bottom of the sorted list if you try to sort by descending date. It would be better if the date entries in the format 'since <ccyy>' were changed to the format '<ccyy> to present'; alternatively, the first date and last date could be made separate columns.

This is a good start. Thanks to 16@r for starting this article and to Dbachmann for reformatting it into a table. Sortable tables can be useful, but this case it seems unnecessary since only "title" and not "date" works. Wouldn't it be more useful to simply order the table historically? German interwiki list

[edit]

The de interwiki has a Chinesische Schriftzeichenlexika page. Could we adapt some of this format? Keahapana (talk) 01:35, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
