The result of the move request was: not moved. (non-admin closure) TonyBallioni (talk) 01:37, 25 April 2017 (UTC)
– WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. The actor gets the most pageviews and is the most significant. The football player isn't really that notable and the DJ host is a brief mention in a short unsourced article. - Support. It's not necessarily that the actor is massively famous; it's that the other two Jason Mitchells are barely notable at all. CityOfSilver 03:02, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose. Most disambiguation pages do not have a WP:PRIMARYTOPIC simply because none of the entries has overriding notability. There is no indication that this subject of a five-sentence stub is sufficiently notable to force the use of the qualifier "(disambiguation)". —Roman Spinner (talk)(contribs) 13:04, 18 April 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose. No clear primary topic. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:46, 19 April 2017 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: consensus to move the pages as proposed at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 03:32, 18 February 2019 (UTC)
– My above request from two years back wasn't great, and likely reeked of WP:RECENTISM, so let's try again. The actor receives 99.6% of the pageviews, and with his acclaimed role in Mudbound, has only increased his significance. Meanwhile, it is not rare for Jason Mitchell (wide receiver), who is barely notable, to receive no page views a day - the dab page Jason Mitchell actually gets more views than him, which makes it clear the current setup is not serving readers. This is a no-brainer primary topic. Nohomersryan (talk) 03:31, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
- Strong support - and there should be no dab page, per WP:TWODAB. Both criteria for significance strongly lean towards the actor, especially on a global scale. Red Slash 03:59, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
- I think the dab page used to include a DJ until he was removed due to his linked article (a radio duo or something) being of questionable notability. If the pair are notable, he can be re-inserted and the dab page kept, but I have no real strong feelings one way or another. Nohomersryan (talk) 05:50, 11 February 2019 (UTC)
- It also included a journalist, but the article was deleted. The DJ was removed without explanation by 174.105.159.86, now blocked for long-term disruption. I've undone that removal - I don't know if the DJ is notable (although the article has existed since 2006 it contains no references) but unless the article is deleted the inclusion in the disambiguation page is valid. - Support per nom. The above link isn't working for me but I still make it 98% of page views for the actor, and that's not even a recent trend having been fairly consistant since the article was created three and a half years ago. Clear cut primary topic, and I feel that should have been pretty obvious last time as well. I'm also agreeable to losing the dab page, I'm not sure a non-notable DJ really makes it viable.
