Fair use rationale for Image:Epworth hospital logo.png

[edit]

Image:Epworth hospital logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:17, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Given that a rationale was provided in 2016, can we please remove this section from the Talk page?Adamm (talkcontribs) 12:40, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Four or five divisions? and Epworth HealthCare home page

[edit]

In the first section under the contents list, the text reads, "Epworth HealthCare is a provider of acute medical, surgical and rehabilitation services in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The group has four divisions: Epworth Richmond, Epworth Eastern, Epworth Cliveden, Epworth Freemasons and Epworth Rehabilitation, with rehabilitation sites at Richmond, Camberwell and Brighton..."

This seems to be five divisions, not four. Either "four" needs to be changed to "five" or some further explanation is needed, surely.

Also, should there not be a link to the Epworth HealthCare home page somewhere (http://www.epworth.org.au/Pages/Home.aspx)? Ondewelle (talk) 11:28, 6 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Epworth also now has a site in Geelong and Hawthorn, so I don't think the number of divisions is accurate at all.

Businesses (and hospitals) open and close sites every now and then. It probably isn't all that useful to specify exactly how many divisions or sites there are - easier to just list them. Sparrowpulse (talk) 11:55, 12 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have substantially rewritten and revised the article to remove these discrepancies (Epworth is consistently adding and removing services) and have added verifiable and reliable citations.Adamm (talkcontribs) 09:24, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
