Mamulan County (Persian: شهرستان معمولان) is in Lorestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Mamulan,[2] whose population at the time of the 2016 National Census was 7,656 people in 2,344 households.[3] The city was previously the capital of Mamulan District in Pol-e Dokhtar County.[4]
History
[edit]In April 2023, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Mamulan County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Mamulan as its capital and only city.[2]
