Add topicI'm interested in finding the tax rates imposed by Great Britain on the states. I will come back when I have more information, but am interested in what everyone else can find.
This page implies the colonists were united in their opposition to Great Britain, which was hardly the case. Its hard to fix without making things too confusing. There must be a term for the non-loyalists that could replace 'colonists'.
Americans is a great term.
What about replacing the word colonist with settler?
The United States didn't exist under Great Britain, silly. Refer to them as the 13 colonies. This page needs to be moved. --Jiang 04:00, 20 Jan 2004 (UTC)
