Operator: -- TinuCherian (Wanna Talk?) -
Automatic or Manually Assisted: Manually Assisted.
Programming Language(s): AutoWikiBrowser
Function Summary: To deliver Wikiproject newsletters and other notifications to users ( upon request)
Edit period(s) (e.g. Continuous, daily, one time run): Once on each request.
Already has a bot flag (Y/N): Y
Function Details: I am aware of similar Bots operating around ( including Diligent Terrier Bot BRFA discussion ) . But with the current limitation of different operators being available at different timezones, This will also speedy help to cater to the more requests from the Wikiprojects. The delivery will be done to the member userpages who have opted for the newsletters only or as decided by the Wikiproject. This will also help the projects that I am active including Wikipedia:INDIA and WP Christianity. I will manually assist the Bot for the collection of target userpages and run the Bot to append / save the newsletter to the userpages.
Discussion
edit- Do you have any particular tasks in mind? Any particular projects or anything like that? (Otherwise, any ideas on what to trial with?) giggy (:O) 14:15, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

- Approved for trial (250 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. That should cover everyone in Wikipedia:WikiProject Christianity/Members. This is pretty generous for a trial so do be careful, and please add a link to this BRFA in the edit summary. The bot can be stopped by editing its talk page, I presume, since it's AWB. giggy (:O) 14:32, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
