- Redirect as per Metropolitan90's point. NinjaTazzyDevil (talk) 05:50, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
- Keep. There has been substantial coverage of this films development already in various media... its definitely coming out and there is casting news so its worth having its own article at this point. Spanneraol (talk) 13:19, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
- Redirect per Metropolitan90 - no need for these to have separate articles until they are actual films. Artw (talk)
- I'm going to link this article in the next edition of the WP:TOP25, as Suicide Squad was the second most popular article on Wikipedia last week. So I am in favor of any outcome except delete, so this points to the right place wherever that may be.--Milowent • hasspoken 15:03, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
- Redirect per the notability guidelines for future films. It is too premature to have a stand-alone article when filming has not started and will not start for over four months. It is customary for there to be news coverage about such developments as if there will be a film, but historically, such developments are not guarantees of actual film productions. (The failed Justice League production is one such example.) We can maintain a section about this development process in the meantime. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 15:36, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
- Merge into the Draft:Suicide Squad (film) which is in works, and leave a new redirect with a warning edit-notice. Draft will be moved to mainspace when article's ready (production begins). It's what we did to Draft:The Jungle Book (2015 film) but didn't put the edit-notice, which should be put here. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 03:37, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
- Comment: I support the decision to redirect the article; I only nominated it for deletion, with hope that no-one ever recreates the article after seeing the final verdict of this discussion. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:50, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
- But I would suggest to merge it into the draft I mentioned above, which is a better way to create an article before the production begins. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 10:02, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
- Keep - As it stands, there is just enough information for this to warrant its own article. DARTHBOTTO talk•cont 05:35, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
- But it's not confirmed, when its filming will start. So the film can't have its own article until production begins. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 10:42, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
- ... So, the reference by Collider is incorrect? DARTHBOTTO talk•cont 04:08, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
- But it's not confirmed, when its filming will start. So the film can't have its own article until production begins. --Captain Assassin! «T ♦ C ♦ G» 10:42, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
- Redirect - As per WP:NFF, films should not have their own articles until principal photography has begun.Richiekim (talk) 21:40, 10 December 2014 (UTC)
- Redirect, as per the notability guidelines for future films. Article opens when the film goes into production. - SchroCat (talk) 06:03, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
- Redirect as per WP:NFF, shooting has not begun yet. Babita arora 10:11, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
