Howdy, MirelesJ, and welcome to Wikipedia!

Thank you for your contributions; you seem to be off to a good start. Hopefully you will soon join the vast army of Wikipediholics! If you need help on how to title new articles, see the naming conventions, and for help on formatting pages, visit the manual of style. For general questions, go to Wikipedia:Help or the FAQ; if you can't find your answer there, check the Village Pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and Policy Library. Plus, don't forget to visit the Community Portal. If you have any more questions after that, feel free to ask me directly on my user talk page.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Attenborough and McQueen in The Great Escape 002.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Attenborough and McQueen in The Great Escape 002.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:11, 12 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Alec Baldwin (Talk)

edit

I don't want to tell you things you already know, since you've been around a few years, but your edit count isn't all that high so excuse me if this is unwarranted... As you contact other contributors to the AB page, make sure you have looked over Wikipedia:Canvassing and are following the guidelines set out there. Wouldn't want you to get in trouble over this issue. Fat&Happy (talk) 05:47, 16 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

You asked me to review your comment about Alec Baldwin and Sarah Palin on SNL. Unfortunately, since I did not watch the program in question, I feel that it would inappropriate for me to comment. But, if you have strong references about the incident, it might be worth a sentence or two in the main article. Sorry if this does not help.Boris Crépeau (talk) 08:24, 16 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Survey Invite

edit

I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.

Survey Link: http://uchicago.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_9S3JByWf57fXEkR?Q_DL=56np5HpEZWkMlr7_9S3JByWf57fXEkR_MLRP_efwDKjlCUusnnZX&Q_CHL=gl

I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.

Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 23:00, 6 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
