editHello, I'm Bzuk. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions to Boeing P-8 Poseidon because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Other articles that were similarly changed, included: Blackburn Dart; Boeing F3B; Yakovlev Yak-32; Tupolev Tu-110; Tupolev Tu-144; McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle; Grumman X-29; Alexander P. de Seversky and Saab 21R. There is no need to convert or adapt bibliographic records, see: wp:retain. Bzuk (talk) 17:16, 12 September 2012 (UTC).
Citing a magazine or serial article
editEditing an article within an anthology or collected works, should read:
Willis, David. "Warplane Classic: Boeing B-29 and B-50 Superfortress". International Air Power Review, Volume 22, 2007, pp. 136–169. Westport, Connecticut: AIRtime Publishing. ISSN 1473-9917. ISBN 978-1-88058-893-2.
In the example you gave, the errors that were made were in identifying the "total" pages in the work, not the full article name, author and its location. David Donald is actually the editor of the International Air Power Review. The ISBN you have located is also an incorrect ISBN:10, that is superseded by the correct ISBN:13 notation, the standard that has been in place since 2006, and should be used whenever available to replace the earlier ISBN:10 standard. In the recent submissions identified above, countless errors in the use of bibliographic records led me to a simple redo of the record. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 02:19, 14 September 2012 (UTC).
Season's tidings!
editTo you and yours, Have a Merry ______ (fill in the blank) and Happy New Year! FWiW Bzuk (talk) 14:33, 22 December 2012 (UTC)
