Program synthesis: protection?

Hi! Thanks for your recent revert at the program synthesis article.

As you can see from the history of article and talk page, there are many edits of an anonymous user with an IP address 2601:184:4081:1cbe:..., starting in Dec 2018. Some of these edits were useful in leading to an improved presentation. However, the user continues to insert text that would belong to the talk page into the article. Moreover, I meanwhile believe that all her/his issues have been fixed in the article, and I can't help if (s)he still doesn't understand all details, and apparently refuses to read the publicly accessible SRI Technical Note 177 which explains them.

For these reasons, I'd like to have some protection for the "program synthesis" article, to prevent anonymous users from editing it. If you agree, could you help me with achieving such protection? Are you allowed to do that? Or could you help me finding somebody who is?

Many thanks in advance. Best Regards - Jochen Burghardt (talk) 18:41, 4 November 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for letting me know. I forwarded this to the admins who range blocked that user. CLCStudent (talk) 12:13, 5 November 2019 (UTC)
