IP ain't nothin' but a number
I like to answer questions more than I like to edit! I know, horrible.
The 98 refers to an IP address (98.xxx.xxx.xxx), not my age (I am neither extremely old nor extremely young). I am a "Mr." I lived in Massachusetts. I am over-educated. Cognitively I find my strengths are in synthesis and analysis, as opposed to, say, recollection, or comprehensiveness. I am better with forests than trees.
This is not my first Wikipedia account—I first started editing over six years ago now!—but I have never had an account blocked, or gotten into any kind of trouble with my accounts, and am a trustworthy dude. But you don't have to take my word for it, just watch what I'm up to. I cycle through accounts on a semi-regular basis at this point—both for purposes of anonymity and to avoid the accumulation of social baggage that makes working on this site a drag for me. You don't have to approve, though if you've been active on here as long as I have, you probably have your own coping mechanism!
I am often more verbose than I ought to be, and sometimes more curt than I should be. I try not to be annoying, most of the time.
I have nothing to do with any of the other "Mr.98s" on these here interwebs.
