Education and Research Interests

Cameron is currently an AHRC-funded PhD candidate in Medieval History at the University of St Andrews. He graduated with an MA in Medieval History from the University of St Andrews in 2017 and an MSt in Medieval History from University College, Oxford in 2019. Cameron is interested in early medieval Continental European history, especially the Carolingian and Ottonian worlds. His current research explores discourses of power, identity, and space in the Carolingian kingdom and Ottonian duchy of Lotharingia between the late-ninth and early-eleventh centuries.
