notable?
editI propose this is not notable. It still looks like a resume (and the subject wrote the initial article...), book titles lack bibliographical information, there are factual problems (none of the positions listed are government positions), and no substantial work has been done since it was tagged in May of 2008. - From what I have read, and from his extensive publication list, the professor appears to meet items 1 and 6 in the criteria for WP:Notability (academics). For these reasons I have taken the {{Notability|date=May 2008}} tag off.

Article rewritten
editBesides the usual copy edits, style edits, wikification, etc., I have added one reference, updated the book citations to have the correct style, and have gotten info about the books (mostly) from amazon.com.
I have also taken the {{Like-resume|date=March 2008}} and {{BLPunsourced|date=January 2009}} tags off. Although there is only one, primary, reference used in the article, many of the books have ISBNs listed, and most can readily be found on amazon.com (if not other vendors). (Yeah, I realize this reason is pretty subjective, but it seems reasonable to me.)
