Her powers and abilities need to be listed

powers/abilities is a horrible horrible mess...basically just an extended history, anyone got a highlighter? summarize please

Am I just imagining things but in her original appearance was her look based on Lolita Davidovich who had just starred in the movie Blaze? --65.113.254.213 01:10, 5 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • It's possible, but there's nothing confirming it. I'll ask George Perez at DragonCon when I go. 01:32, 5 June 2006 (UTC)

Justice League Quarterly #17

edit

I know her appereance in that issue was to focus on a real life Runaway help line, but I'm pondering if it's still 'noteable'. After all, she rewrites a bad guy's brain (he was AWFUL), something that other folks in the DCU (currently) have a big-ass problem with. Lots42 05:38, 3 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Maxima (Action Comics 651).jpg

edit

Image:Maxima (Action Comics 651).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

The possibility of a Maxima themed character in Smallville

edit

I have removed the citations again. There needs to be a more reliable source cited. Below is a quote from site that was previously cited:

Remember, spoilers are pure speculation and could turn out to be false.

That line says it all. Please share your opinions. On an unrelated note, I do find it interesting they used on their page the image I uploaded on Wikipeda.--Rockfang (talk) 14:59, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The current image for Maxima is not the real Maxima; the story which that art and character debuted is revealed to be an impostor in that same story; she just happens to look like the Pre-52 Maxima but it is clear she is a soldier who served the real Maxima and her mother whom, upon being disappointed that she did not follow tradition, opted to attempt to take her place as "Maxima", which has become a title in Almerac.
