@Valetude iirc the sources describe it this way as it is unclear if the relationship was romantic or not. I need to go back and check them though. Any ideas for better phrasing? I started this article a little while ago and need to return to get it to a more complete standard. Vladimir.copic (talk) 22:53, 9 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
I am guessing that I am the one who put this date in. I can't remember where I got it from but I need to recheck the Joan Kerr source. From a quick search the most specific I can find in a source is just November 1926. I'll see if I can access the Kerr book today. I don't have a problem with matching this to the gravestone but it would be good to back this with a source. Vladimir.copic (talk) 23:48, 5 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Couldn't find the Kerr book but while in the art section I had a look through some other books for a DoB but came up blank (this isn't helped by Mary being known variously as Mary Boyd, Mary Perceval and Mary Nolan). I probably just introduced this error when I created the article and will fix it up now. Vladimir.copic (talk) 06:15, 6 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
