Borgen inspiration

edit

I think the mention of being an inspiration for Borgen should be removed for now, unless a better source is found. The source link article mention that Margrethe herself claims that, not that the article/source itself is giving evidence of such. I tried to find more about Borgen, and I cannot find anything from Borgen side that substantiate that claim? If you do find, please update the link/source. If not, it should be removed. Unless there is something, it's merely coincidental for now. I could claim I'm wonder woman for the the Washington Post, that doesn't make it a fact.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:3003:106:200:2162:B70:6880:E7D1 (talk) 16:43, 19 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Leader is Søren Bald

edit

The social-Liberal party in Denmark (Det radikale Vanstre) is lead by Søren Bald. Margrethe is head of the parlemantgroup, which makes her the partymember with the most media coverage.

Det radikale Venstre is lead by a chairman (Sørens Bald) The chairman is not allowed to run for any public seat. (Margrethe is a former chairman) At each assembly the party is represented, the elected members form a group headed by a groupchairman. This makes Margrehte Vestager leader of the Social liberal Parlemant group not the party.217.198.215.136 16:20, 14 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Not deputy prime minister

edit

Margrethe Vestager is NOT the deputy prime minister. There is no such title anymore, it was abolished as part of the new government. http://www.dr.dk/Nyheder/Temaer/2011/Valg/2011/09/30/192421.htm — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.51.163.152 (talk) 21:23, 4 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Strasbourg and Smoking

edit

I wonder if her position on the Strasbourg Parliament is worth being mentioned in the article.

How did you perceive the whole moving to Strasbourg thing?

I found it absolutely crazy, I remember that day, I was just being appointed commissioner, and I was with my family and friends in a farm in the countryside. My father was seventy, I think, and the first thing he told me when I announced I was going to move to Brussels was: “Can you then stop that ‘going to Strasbourg’ thing?”. Yeah, that was that, out of the top of his mind.

Similarly, the smoking habits might fit in the Personal Life part? Not sure if the source can be considered reliable, though. She gave an interview to a satirical magazine of some sort.
