Contested deletion
editI disagree about it not showing "importance or significance". Better to AFD than to just speedy delete.--Yankees10 20:53, 27 December 2012 (UTC) hes a girl
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Kidd Kidd's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "RIAA":
- From List of music recording certifications: "RIAA - Recording Industry Association of America". Recording Industry Association of America. Retrieved 2008-05-26.
- From Tha Carter III: "RIAA – Searchable Database: Tha Carter". Recording Industry Association of America. Retrieved October 24, 2011.
- From Tyga discography: "Gold & Platinum: Tyga". Recording Industry Association of America. Retrieved March 29, 2012.
- From Drake (entertainer): "Drake". RIAA. Retrieved August 1, 2012.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 09:17, 14 January 2013 (UTC)
Notability
editOK @Yankees10:, I give up. How is he notable? Under WP:BAND we have a few options:
1) "...the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent from the musician..." Minimal coverage about the person with no biographical info.
2) "Has had a single or album on any country's national music chart." Nope.
3) "Has had a record certified gold or higher in at least one country." Nope.
4) "... non-trivial coverage in independent reliable sources of an international concert tour, or a national concert tour..." Nope.
5) "...two or more albums on a major record label..." Nothing but free downloads.
6) "...reasonably prominent member of two or more independently notable ensembles..." Nope.
7) "... the most prominent representatives of a notable style or the most prominent of the local scene of a city." Nope.
8) "...won or been nominated for a major music award..." Nope.
9) "...won or placed in a major music competition." Nope.
10) "...performed music for a work of media that is notable...probably more appropriate to have a mention in the main article and redirect to that article..." Nope.
11) "...placed in rotation nationally by a major radio or music television network." Nope.
12) "...a featured subject of a substantial broadcast segment across a national radio or TV network." Nope.
