Afghanistan
editRemoved the following entry from the Biography section due to no citation or reference. And, the fact that he is out of the military and would not be performing peace keeping duties, even if he was currently located in Afghanistan:
- "He is now keeping peace in Afghanistan"
Ncohistory (talk) 18:07, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
- As long as he is asleep, he is keeping the peace. When he is awake, there is potential liability for breach of that peace. I certainly would not pay McKinney to keep the peace because that would be paying him to sleep. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.139.67.17 (talk) 12:04, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
When I get around to it, I'm going to cut out the cut-n-paste of what appears to be an official Army-sanctioned biography. This may be good source material, but much of it is irrelevant and much is biased or at least blatantly promotional.
- Actually, it looks like this didn't come from the army. McKinney is an embarassment to the army now - his official bio is short and to the point - the link is on the article page. This is more likely taken from another source, but I agree, it's a bit POV. --Nobunaga24 02:29, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Missing References Tag
editThis article only has a couple references and they focus on the scandal section. Need more information.--0pen$0urce (talk) 08:21, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
Capital letters
editAlthough I understand the army's syle of writing, that does not apply here. We use the Wiki Manual of Style. Under that, "army" does not require a capital unless modified by an adjective or noun functioning as an adjective ("US Army). In the same way, ranks (or positions) like "sergeant major of the army" are not set with intial caps unless they are a person's name "Sergeant Major of the Army Jones."
I know, the army does it another way, but here is another case where there is "The right way and the army way." Paul, in Saudi (talk) 11:59, 11 November 2012 (UTC)
