Undisclosed paid edits

edit

I have added an {{undisclosed paid}} tag to this article because of extensive editing by a UPE sockfarm, please see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jaktheladz for evidence. Users relevant to this page include: Curious All Tunes (talk · contribs), Hippie Klingon (talk · contribs) The article will need a thorough review ensuring due weight, neutral language, and use of reliable sources before the tag is removed. Hi, my name is Dan and I work for Arup. You can see below I have been suggesting factual changes where I can see information is out of date or incorrect. I’m keen to understand what we can do to prove that we’re engaging with the community in accordance with Wikipedia’s policies and guidelines, and ultimately show that the undisclosed paid edits tag is no longer warranted. I hope the track record of the edits I've outlined shows that this is not a practice we engage in now. I’d appreciate your guidance on this. Arup Dan (talk) 15:52, 22 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Factual edits for the page

edit

Hi everyone,

My name is Dan and I work for Arup. I’ve set up this profile to connect and build relations with the Wikipedia Community after seeing some out of date information on Arup’s Wikipedia page. I've been through the page, and the page of one of our board members, and suggested factual changes where I can see information is out of date or incorrect. I am aware of conflict of interest guidelines, so have been careful to only suggest edits that are strictly factual.

I would appreciate any feedback from the community on this and/or any advice on how these could be improved if necessary. I've detailed the edits below.

Many thanks,

Dan

Hi everyone, I'd like to propose a couple more changes to the page. Arup has recently changed its Chair - the post is now held by Jerome Frost. https://www.arup.com/news-and-events/jerome-frost-appointed-as-next-chair-of-arup-group
The fellows list is also a few years old, so I'd like to bring it up to date. https://www.arup.com/our-firm/arup-fellows
Please do let me know if anyone has any concerns about these proposed changes - any feedback or advice from the community would be very welcome.
Many thanks,

'Undisclosed paid edits' tag

edit

Hi everyone,

This is Dan from Arup again. We noticed that an “Undisclosed paid edits” tag has been listed on this page since just over two years ago. This is certainly not a practice we engage in now and I hope the track record of the edits I've outlined shows this. Are there any outstanding inaccuracies or edits that would need to be removed for this tag to be removed?

We're keen to work with the community to make this happen.

Thank you,
