editI added an advertisement tag because the article contains very little factual information and mostly marketing and PR material, for example:
- Art of Dying has quietly become Canada’s number one rock band to watch. Their lead single “Get Through This” has attracted over 60,000 fans to their MySpace page, has reached the Top 10 Unsigned Bands list on MySpace, and has battled it out in the Top 10 charts on many US radio stations. Vancouver’s vibrant underground rock scene brought together five talented musicians with the knack for producing hard rocking anthems with undeniably catchy melodies.
Number one rock band to watch? Says who. Undeniably catchy melodies? I deny it! Five talented musicians. As opposed to untalented musicians? This article is either fan-cruft or written by members of the band directly - it fails on most of the Wikipedia policies: WP:NPOV, WP:OR, WP:Non-Encyclopedic - but lets call it what it is: an advertisement. -- Stbalbach 00:51, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
- I've removed the biased content and the tag. Addhoc 19:43, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
And yet, the first line of the Biography section says, "Hard work, determination, focus and a relentless passion for music are what define the Art of Dying." Is that a quote from someone? This article still needs work... BrettxPW (talk) 19:24, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
I'm deleting "Fans have connected with the song "Get Through This", a story of struggle and hope. This has led to a following on Myspace where Art of Dying has topped the independent charts and developed a following of over 80,000 'friends'.". There is no reason to connect one song to the number if myspace friends. Also the sources is just a link to there myspace.ZODtheReaper (talk) 21:44, 4 October 2009 (UTC)

editI tried to clean up this article, but it still could use some work. Some citations wouldn't hurt. --BrettxPW (talk) 22:58, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
Conflict of interest?
editThe creator of this article User:Mphotograph repeatedly created the article Melissa Mercier. The website mphotograph.com is for photographer "Melissa Mercier". The WHOIS lists "Jonathan Hetherington" as the admin contact. Lead singer for this band is... "Jonny Hetherington". I'm slapping a COI tag on this. The photographer who shot the album photgraphs was Melissa Mercier. The lead singer of the band is Jonny Hetherington. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.237.180.203 (talk) 13:39, 19 December 2008 (UTC)

Art of Dying (song)
editShould we add a disambiguation link pointing towards George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass"? Readers who arrived on this page via a search for "Art of Dying" may have actually been searching for Harrison's song of the same name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.218.90.101 (talk) 23:00, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
