Demographic

edit

Perhaps instead of listing Male as the demographic, Shounen would be more appropriate? This is consistent with the demographic listed for similar media "Bloom Into You", which is published and marketed to the same demographic. (Shounen is more encompassing than simply male, and more relevant to the marketing cultures in Japan) Callie Liddle (talk) 02:19, 9 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

There might be something about this in topic specific MOS pages. I'm not sure, but you may get more attention asking this question at WT:A&M where more editors are watching and would be able to more readily answer this question. silvia (User:BlankpopsiclesilviaASHs4) (inquire within) 02:29, 9 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Male/female are used for novels because they don't have the same specific designations that manga magazines do. The reason why Bloom Into You is a shōnen manga is because Dengeki Daioh is a shōnen manga magazine. This novel series' imprint, Dengeki Bunko, is targeted toward a male audience, but since we can't get any more specific than that on Wikipedia (per WP:V), we just use the broad male/female demographics for novels.-- 20:22, 9 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
