Early life and college career
editScarpelli is a native of Brick Township, New Jersey.[1] She started playing soccer at the age of four and played prep soccer at Brick Memorial High School in her hometown.[2]
Scarpelli played college soccer at Pennsylvania State University and Florida Gulf Coast University.[3]
Club career
editSporting CP
editScarpelli signed for Portuguese side Sporting CP on January 27, 2023.[4][5]
Brisbane Roar
editIt was announced on August 28, 2023 that Scarpelli joined the Brisbane Roar.[6]
Brooklyn FC
editScarpelli joined Brooklyn FC on June 28, 2024, ahead of the inaugural USL Super League season.[7] Scarpelli made her club debut in Brooklyn's inaugural match against Spokane on September 8, 2024.
International career
editScarpelli was called-up to the United States national under-17 team in 2017.[8]
Style of play
editScarpelli has been described as "brings versatility... having grown up playing central midfield and left midfield before eventually falling into a strong centre-back role".[9]
Personal life
editScarpelli is the daughter of American soccer player Craig Scarpelli.[10] She has regarded Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo as her football idol.[11]
