Point of this page?[]
I don't remember much about GT, but is this page really necessary? Kamikaze839 21:57, October 30, 2017 (UTC)
Oh I don't know, is Saiyan beyond God necessary? Is the Infinite Zamasu page necessary? Listen, there is an interview shown in that page that confirms that it is a transformation, based on how the interviewee treated it and how he said it. Read the whole thing and then come back. Uhh, nope what? And this is the question that was stated and what was answered during the interview so you guys can know why Neffy created it in the first place. SuperBen 1000000 (talk) 03:11, October 31, 2017 (UTC)
Where did Goku go on Shenlong’s back at the very end?
To be honest, in GT episode 63, just before the final episode, a big change comes over Goku. Those who watched carefully might have noticed, but… In that episode, Goku, who takes Yi Xing Long‘s attack, sinks to the bottom of a deep hole. That is the turning point. Afterward, Goku still continues the battle, but what’s different from before is that he’s cloaked in an aura that won’t let any attack near him.
It might be that he died there, or it might be that he became something else entirely. I’ll leave that decision to the imaginations of everyone who watched. However, the Goku up to that point that everyone knows clearly does not appear after that.
In the world of Dragon Ball, Goku had already died multiple times, and up till then, each time he appeared with a halo over his head. However, I didn’t want to go with the usual concept of, “even when he dies, he comes right back to life”. I wanted the viewers to picture “death” in that way, and feel a sadness close to it in reality. So I had a “change” come over Goku.
And then after that, once he defeats Yi Xing Long and grants the final wish, Goku goes right off with Shenlong and the Dragon Balls, to somewhere that people definitely can’t get to. While wishing that people will be able to get by on their own strength in a world without the Dragon Balls. And Vegeta is the only one who notices where he’s headed.
I just read the whole interview. He makes no implication, nor alludes to in anything he says, that the change is a transformation. It was blatantly stated that it was 'up to the imaginations of the viewers'. By labeling this a transformation, you're making an implication that your 'imagination' takes presedence over the 'imaginations' of every other viewer. This page simply does not belong. Hmmm...then what do you suppose then, because he does hint that, though at the same time he does say that it is a "change" which could equal a transformation. As he does say he might've became "something else entirely" and also says he might be dead. I don't know what to do to be honest, this is so confusing. Neff created this for some reason so you should probably talk to him about it. SuperBen 1000000 (talk) 22:57, February 19, 2018 (UTC)
To be perfectly clear, this whole thing about it being connected to Ultra Instinct makes no sense. After all, Autonomous Ultra Instinct makes Goku dodge which was not seen when he hit this form. Ultra Instinct was better displayed by blind SSJ4 Goku when he absorbed everyone's energy during his battle with Omega. To be honest, I read that statement and it mentioned a "Change" and the like, but that meant Goku's existence entirely. Goku either "Died" or "Changed" into something else entirely. They also mention in it that "the Goku up to that point that everyone knows clearly does not appear after that." I think he means Goku's consiousness entirely. Not his body or a new form. I don't believe that this can be considered in the same family as Ultra Instinct due to how it doesn't even once show autonomous movment. I mean, I guess if you stretch it, it could be, but I think that the UI tag as a similar technique should likely be removed. The Barrier of light thing is pretty good though as it is actually similar to that without a stretch. If I were to say something abotu it, I would put it in the article section away from the similar techniques tags and mention how it is vaugely similar to Ultra Instinct and that what the "Change" is is supposed to be left up to imagination just as the scan suggests. From what I read from the Kanzenshuu translation, it seems that what happend to Goku and his "Change" is refering to his demise, not a new form. Thanks for reading this far!!!

It's a transformation. Makes sense since one of the hugest "plotholes" in DBGT was why Goku kept mysteriously dissapearing and why he wasn't killed by Omega Shenron. SuperBen 1000000 (talk) 23:31, October 30, 2017 (UTC)
