Chapuchai (チャプチャイ Chapuchai) is a deceased warrior from the East Quadrant of the universe.

He is a short, muscular man and has tan skin and a black beard.

Chapuchai's clones
Chapuchai lost in the first round of the Other World Tournament against Olibu. He has speed so intense that it makes it appear that there are seven of him, and he actually has the ability to clone himself. During the final of the tournament, East Kai makes him run laps along with her other students for losing their fights.
Chapuchai is later with numerous other fighters surrounding King Kai, Yamcha, and Krillin when the three are following Goku's battle against Kid Buu via King Kai's telepathy.[1]

Chapuchai later makes a cameo appearance in the episode "Universal Allies" of Dragon Ball GT, training under South Kai.
Techniques and Special Abilities[]
- High Speed – Chapuchai is able to move at high speed.
- Cloning – Chapuchai is able to create several clones of himself. He pretends that these clones are created through high speed to trick his foe, when he has really split himself into multiple bodies. Named Division Attack in Daizenshuu 7 and Multiform in the Dragon Ball Z Collectible Card Game.
