The Stone Gauntlets are legendary gloves in Diablo III. They require character level 29 to drop.
Their unique legendary power grants a buff/debuff when attacked, stacking up to 5 times, shown with a buff icon. Each stack increases Armor by 50%, but reduces movement speed by 15% (to a total of 75%) and attack speed by 20% (total 100%). The debuff portion of the effect is essentially the opposite of Echoing Fury, which increases movement and attack speed on kills.
Resistance/immunity to control-impairing effects works against the reduced attack and movement speed penalties imposed by the Gauntlets, without removing the armor benefit. The Ice Climbers unique power is a popular combo with them, granting complete immunity. They are also usable "for free" in Seasons where the Altar of Rites is available, by unlocking its Omen Seal.
