Oswen was a resident of Nevesk.
Biography[]
In 1336, while attending a service at the Nevesk chapel, Lilith appeared before Oswen and his fellow villagers, seducing him and the other villagers into following her. While the Cathedral of Light priest urged them to resist Lilith, his words fell on deaf ears, and Oswen and the rest of the villagers beat him to death. They then placed the headless body in Icehowl Ruins, where Iosef later found it. Upon his arrival into Nevesk, Oswen and the townsfolk drugged Iosef, with Oswen and Vani locking him in a shed. Iosef rambled like a madman about demons and bit Oswen's hand. Afterwards, the Wanderer entered the shed to investigate. Vani lied to the Wander, saying Iosef came to the village as a madman, yelling about what he had seen inside the ruins. While the Wanderer spoke with Vani, Oswen remained outside by the shed.[1]
After clearing out the ruins, the Wanderer returned to Nevesk, where Oswen told them that Iosef punched him in the gut and escaped into the nearby woods. The townsfolk then threw a celebration in order to drug the Wanderer. After passing out, Oswen hauled the unconscious Wanderer into a barn using the back of a wagon. Along the way he hummed a melody. Upon entering the barn, Oswen forced the Wanderer to ingest blood petals. After this, he prepareed for a sacrificial ritual. While Oswen sharpened his knife, Iosef snuck into the barn and struck him in the back of the head with an iron rod, killing him.[2]
