- But the cold truth is, there is no justice in the universe. No guiding force. It's an illusion. And there are certainly no damn heroes who can save us from this!
- — Amanda Waller

Synopsis for "Part Four"
At the Source Wall, even Hal Jordan is seeing the futility of the situation. The G.L.C. is only slowing the demise of the universe, and things are getting worse. Green Arrow calls - the Omega Titans have just arrived on Earth.
Surround by the wreckage of Colu, the growing Ghost Sector and the Coluan refugee fleet; the Justice League is trying to repair Brainiac's Skull Ship, but it's everything that Cyborg can do just to hold it together. They ask Brainiac 2.0 for help, but he won't. The Justice League deserve what's coming to them, so Dox leaves them to die and teleports to Earth to retrieve Brainiac I's intelligence.
On Earth, Brainiac 2.0 blasts Supergirl with a Kryptonite ray, and installs tech on the Tree of Mystery to speed its growth - and he does the same for the other three Trees. At the Tree of Entropy - growing from Belle Reve prison — he ambushes Amanda Waller, thanking her for killing his father, before raising his blaster. But Brainiac 2.0 is stopped by a big green fist - Hal Jordan has brought the Earth's Green Lanterns.
The Tree of Entropy grows at an alarming rate, reflecting the chaos on Earth, which Waller believes only she knows how to fight: again, she calls in the nuclear airstrike, but is interupted when Batman and the rest of the Justice League appear out of Brainiac's Skull Ship and Dox just laughs. "You can all die together here on Earth!"
But Cyborg has assimilated Brainiac's knowledge and the League has formulated a plan that even Brainiac couldn't comprehend. He had supercharged the Cosmic Seed to draw the Omega Titans to Earth - but the same thing could be done to draw the Titans away from Earth, if they could also diminish the energies already in the Trees.
The Teams reform and attack the Brainiac tech that is stimulating the Trees, and when Lex Luthor finds the newly grown cosmic seed on the Tree of Entropy, each Team charges it with their respective energy — Wisdom, Wonder, Entropy and Mystery. Hal Jordan creates a giant crossbow - and Green Arrow fires the seed into the Entropy Titan just as its armor opens. The other three Titans cannot stop themselves - they turn on Entropy and devour him.
The League has broken so many universal rules with the Source Wall and the Cosmic Seed that everything begins to change:
- Lex Luthor contacts Martian Manhunter, and warns him that things will not be the same.
- Batman meets with Black Lightning and discusses plans for a group of Outsiders.
- Martian Manhunter gifts Green Arrow with the power to destroy the Justice League.
- Starfire and Cyborg outfit Brainiac's Skull Ship for a trek to the Ghost Sector.
- Wonder Woman and Zatanna feel the power of the Tree of Wonder, and plan for a group that can wrest its secrets from the Dark.
- The Justice League opens the Hall of Justice, and elects J'onn J'onzz as the chairperson.
