This template may be placed at the top of a category, gallery or template page to alert people to the fact that an editor is in the process of improving the page, and thus some errors or inconsistencies may be seen.
The template automatically sets the following categories: Category:Templates under construction
Usage

The template takes three optional parameters:
|date=may be used to indicate the date on which work on the page started. Though this parameter is optional, its use is strongly recommended so editors can determine whether work is ongoing or has stalled.|user=(or the first unnamed parameter) may be used to indicate the user name of the editor who is currently working on the page.|notready=can be used to indicate that the page is not ready for use.
