Sandoy is one of the Faroe Islands. About 1,500 people live here on an area of 125 km².
Villages in Sandoy include: Skopun, Sandur (Faroe Islands), Skarvanes, Dalur, Húsavík (Faroe Islands) and Skálavík. To the region belong the islands of Skúvoy and Stóra Dímun

Sandoy means "Sand Island", the main town is Sandur, and the bay is called Sandsvágur because of its beach.

There is a school for the whole island Inni í Dal, which is between Sandur and Skopun, next to the football stadium of B71 Sandoy. A sports hall is being made there in 2012.
