Deutsch: Das Gebiet rund um Glacier Bay in Südostalaska wurde am 25.2.1925 zunächst zum U.S. National Monument ernannt.
Im Jahre 1980 wurde daraus Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve gemäß dem Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act.
English: The area around Glacier Bay in southeastern Alaska was first proclaimed a U.S. National Monument on February 25, 1925. It was changed to Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve in 1980 by the Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act.
Français : Le 25 février 1925, la région autour de Glacier Bay dans le sudest de l'Alaska, fut proclamée U.S. National Monument. En 1980, on a changé le status en Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve selon l' Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act.
Magyar: A Délkelet-Alaszkában fekvő Glacier-öböl körüli területet 1925. február 25-én nemzeti emlékparkká nyilvánították. Az 1980-as Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act révén vált nemzeti parkká és vadrezervátummá.
