[edit]DescriptionCucurbitacin-I-Inhibits-Cell-Motility-by-Indirectly-Interfering-with-Actin-Dynamics-pone.0014039.s004.ogv |
English: B16-F1 cells exposed to cucurbitacin I immediately stop protrusion and begin retraction of lamellae. B16-F1 cells were imaged at 37°C every 30 s for 3 h by phase-contrast microscopy and then cucurbitacin I was added to 200 nM while imaging. The movie shows the 8 min prior to compound addition and the next 40 min in the presence of compound. The freezing of protrusion is evident within a minute after addition of compound, while retraction took place over a longer time scale. |
