Unlikely to be own work. Taken with multiple cameras, missing metadata, watermarks.

Which ones have watermarks? Also, he might just have multiple cameras. Félix An (talk) 23:30, 22 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Here are two data points from checking the two images used in the light pollution article:
* File:Light-pollution-sea-turtles.jpg appears to be from here: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/329174799_Hazard_or_Hope_LEDs_and_Wildlife_LED_Professional_Review
* File:Light pollution solution examples.jpg and slight variations appear all over the Internet. That particular one appears to say "Canadian Space Agency." An equivalent one is available in the public domain from the National Park Service: https://www.nps.gov/grca/learn/nature/night-skies.htm
This information appears to corroborate the assertion of Unlikely to be own work.
If these are removed, I plan to reach out to the creator of the first to ask if he'd be willing to release it under CC-by or similar.
Should I wait for this deletion process to complete before replacing the File:Light pollution solution examples.jpg with the public domain version that I found? Thanks for guidance. StarTravelerUSA (talk) 01:36, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
