Note about my deletions

It was not part of Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Виталий Болбас that you cited, it was not tagged for deletion, and it was not nominated as part of Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Minions#Files in Category:Minions 4. In fact, it kept as a result of the deletion request from five years ago. ✗plicit 12:57, 17 October 2024 (UTC)

You mention that you don't think the logos are above the threshold of originality, yet you deleted them. Was this a mistake? Or am I not understanding something about your closing comment? Thanks. IronGargoyle (talk) 18:49, 19 October 2024 (UTC)
- I made a mistake in the closing comment; corrected now. I do not think the logo's are below TOO. There is no law on TOO in my country, judges must decide. As an amateur visual artist I know creative effort can be high, even if a work looks simple, so to be fair, when in doubt - I often decide in favour of the copyright of the artist (or the owner of the logo in case they possess the copyright). - Yes, there are about 50-100 his paintings at Goskatalog. But Goskatalog is available only within Russia (some kind of Internet China Great Wall in Russia, I don't know). I want to upload someday several of these works. -- Andrew Krizhanovsky (talk) 19:19, 23 October 2024 (UTC)
