Andrea Segre presents his film The Green Blood, which gives a voice to the immigrant workers who participated in the Rosarno revolt
Andrea Segre describes how his film The Green Blood, presented in Venice Days, emerged from the necessity to depict and denounce the appalling situation of immigrant workers in Rosarno, in southern Italy. Andrea Segre explains that these people, who leave their country to flee war, find themselves experiencing another war in Italy and the only thing that keeps them going is the hope their life will one day change.
