BOOMERANG
synopsis
Boomerang: n. a bent or angular throwing club typically flat on one side and rounded on the other so that it soars or curves in flight; esp: one designed to return near the thrower. When returning with his sister Agathe to Noirmoutier Island, where they spent their early childhood, Antoine never suspected just how much the past, like a boomerang, would come winging back, bringing with it buried memories. Secrets, unsaid things, lies: the history of this family could do with a fresh start. Antoine is faced by his mother's mysterious disappearance, a father skilled in remaining silent, and a sister who doesn't want to see the truth in front of her. But, fortunately, a seductive stranger will turn Antoine's life upside down.
