Very charming and unconventional release when it comes to dungeon synth. The combination of high adventure seeped in catchy disco beats and an established fantasy atmosphere is unexpectedly captivating. The ambient songs set the mood really well as rather long interlude pieces, thus providing a varied soundscape. This is the musical equivalent of meeting a seasoned Aventurian traveller sharing an incredible assortment of stories and tales from all corners of the world.

I find for many dungeon synth albums, I enjoy the track journey initially, but I have to be in the mood to return for another go. This album is going to call to me frequently. I think I've listened to it a dozen times in the past week alone. Grimrings is my favorite track and it transports me straight into an 80's fantasy movie montage where the hero is preparing for the final battle or riding off into the sunset after victory.
