NEW ANBERNIC RG 406V

The RG406V is one of the best retro handhelds out there. It's nostalgic but at the same time brings the vertical form factor to an entire new level. You have to use it to believe!

It's comfortable, ergonomic and has possibly the best d-pad in the industry. The sticks were also perfected in relation to past Anbernic handhelds. While I almost have the feeling of holding the definitive handheld whenever I pick it up to play, there are still some flaws:

- Face buttons are great but too small. Sometimes I accidentally press buttons I don't want to press. Please make them bigger, Anbernic.
- Screen bezels could be smaller as in the RG400XX V to make the screen pop a little bit more.
- T820 is still not powerful enough for GC and PS2. A SnapDragon chip would be perfect in terms of power and compatibility.
- Screen viewing angles could better (especially from below)

Please Anbernic, help us achieve the perfect vertical handheld! Only you can do it.

I absolutely love this thing. It does everything I need in a vertical form-factor and Anbernic customer service is top-notch. I had a contol stick break and they sent me three replacement sticks for free!!! so, so impressed. I will be recommending Anbernic to everyone I know.

First bought the 405 and loved it had a few issues mainly being heating and battery, but the 406v has blown it out of the water in my opinion and also manages run alot more ps2 titles and gamecube great unit

I like everything about the RG406V. Loud set of stereo speakers. Nice, crisp and vibrant 4 inch display, love the larger display. Easy navigation with the emulation frontend program. The upgraded analog sticks work like Atari 2600 joysticks. The RG406V accepts 2TB micro sd cards, I have one installed in mine. The RG406V comes with the Google Playstore included. Able to download video players such as VLC Player and KODI Media Center to play movies and TV shows locally uploaded to the sd card or internal memory. I've always loved the design of the hexagonal shaped fan on the back of the device since having my Woodgrain Edition RG405V, which I still have as well. Battery life is amazing. I chose the Gray Edition for my RG406V which has a Super Famicom vibe, and I really like it! Overall, while I've heard many say it's an ugly handheld. I've always viewed the design of the 405V/406V as a stylish and classy design! Also, it's not nearly as bulky as some are saying it is. I feel the overall build of the RG406V is top quality. My money was well spent on purchasing the RG406V. Glad I made the purchase! ANBERNIC also shipped my RG406 with an included glass screen protector.

I love the handheld game. You can really customize just about everything.
