Bristol

[edit]

Hi, there was a discussion in the Good Article review about using tables or lists and flag icons in the Twin city section and the consensus was not to use flag icons and to render the twin cities as prose. Consequently, i have reverted your edit. Jezhotwells (talk) 17:04, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough and serves me right. I should check the talk pages before making edits as obvious as this one. Prose is fine for this section of the Bristol article, but what would you do for cities like Montreal that many more sister cities (20 in Montreal's case)? Prose would make the text redundant and tedious to read.Tinss (talk) 17:14, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Warlord (demo) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unreferenced effectively unverifiable (through reliable sources) article on a demo. No coverage by reliable sources. Does not meet verifiability through reliable sources

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. When you recently edited Mont-Saint-Bruno National Park, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Limon, Watershed and Green Frog (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Splenectomy

[edit]

Thanks for your addition to the 'side effects' section of Splenectomy. Could you add the units to the quoted death rates in the WWII veterans though? Are they percentages, rates per 1000 person-years, or what? They're clearly not numbers of people. I don't have access to the cited Lancet article to check myself. Qwfp (talk) 13:23, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Qwfp: Thanks for the notice. I have corrected and clarified the statistics. The units are deaths from the study group of 740 men. If you can think of a better way to present the numbers feel free to make corrections. Tinss (talk) 15:58, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, those numbers make more sense, thanks. Qwfp (talk) 21:00, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]

Hello, can you please respond to the three messages above? Thanks, Boleyn (talk) 18:51, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Boleyn (talk · contribs)! Sorry for not taking action on your three previous messages and thanks for pointing those issues out. Unfortunately, I cannot provide sources for these three articles as my searches on the web turned up nothing. However, they are about forts in Rajasthan (India) that definitely exist and that can be easily seen in satellite imagery (speaking of that, would imagery count as reference?). The local government might have records and history about those forts, but this is not information that is accessible to me so I was hoping editors from India could add the sources. Tinss (talk) 14:10, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Tinss. Yes, links to satellite imagery should be fine as sources. Did you start the articles from your own knowledge? If you just add wherever you got your information from, then hopefully it will expand over time, as it will have a good start. Thanks again, Boleyn (talk) 17:17, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I started the articles from visits I made to these sites recently. Anyhow, I've added satellite imagery as a source. Hopefully others will uncover more content to expand them. Tinss (talk) 17:43, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
