Biography

Mr.CAP was born Cornelius A. Pratt to Cornelius and Brenda Pratt April 5, 1973 in Houston, Texas. He grew up in the Neiborhood "South Park" on the south side of Houston, Texas. From the age of 8 Mr.CAP and his family performed regularly around the Houston area, because he, his siblings and cousins, watch thier parents and uncles (The Greer Brothers) make history, and become successful as musicians. He attended Jack Yates High School and graduated in 1992. In 1988, Mr.CAP formed a rap group named The Raise Up Posse with Darryl J. Fontenot (Texas Tech of the South Park Coalition) and Ronnie Benard (Ron-E) which later became "Niggaz Under Siege". In that same year joined the South Park Coalition founded by childhood friend K-Rino in 1986. During the late 80's, Mr.CAP became close friends with GI of H-Town (band) and have made plans to co produce a new single.

Mr.CAP is an American Rapper from South Park Houston, Texas and original member of the South Park Coalition, Founded by K-Rino. Mr.CAP, descendant of the late great blues legend Johnny "Guitar" Watson, and "The Greer Brothers," Who recorded the controversial song "We Don't Dig No Busing" in 1973. Having acquired 20 + years experience working in the underground. Accommodating an array of Hip-Hop legends such as: Screwed Up Click, PointBlank, K-Rino, Scarface, O.N.E., PaPa Reu, H-Town (band), Lil Flip, Z-Ro, Mike Jones, Ying-Yang Twins, Too $hort, Bun B, Pimp-C and a host of others. Mr.CAP hit the scene with his debut album "2 Tha Grave" Southern Hip-Hop indie at its best. Mr.CAP delivers ground breaking dynamics in entertainment delivery and performance.


In 2004 Mr.CAP & O.N.E. (Black One of the Screwed Up Click "S.U.C."), partnered up for their first collaboration under the record lable; 'O.N.E. 4 Da Money'

In 2010 Mr.CAP started a digital distribution company named: CAP DISTRIBUTIONS. CAP DISTRIBUTIONS, assist all artist of any genre, with digital delivery to all online stores, such as: iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, eMusic, etc...

During the release of "Cap International" in late 2012 Mr.CAP did an exclusive interview with "Jamsphere Magazine" [1]

December 12, 2012 Mr.CAP's released the single "Live My Life" [2]
