Overlinking

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit to Badsha - The Don, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking.
Only add a link that a reader is likely to want to follow and that would increase their understanding of the subject. Don't add a link simply because an article exists. Don't link everyday words in context (like joint venture, film, or soundtrack, don't link disambiguation pages (like venture), and don't link dates. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 17:50, 21 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, re: this a quick note: Per community consensus, we don't use flags in the infobox because it unnecessarily draws attention to one parameter, and there's simply no need for them. Thanks for understanding, and if you have any questions, please let me know. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:37, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Always cite reliable published sources

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Worldbruce. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Boss 2 (2017 film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 21:40, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Boss 2, without citing a reliable source using an inline citation that clearly supports the material. The burden is on the person wishing to keep in the material to meet these requirements, as a necessary (but not always sufficient) condition. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. --Worldbruce (talk) 16:47, 17 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
