Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Janesville station, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please stop adding information about the former downtown Janesville station. Because the Amtrak station was located well outside downtown, it's best for it to be a separate article. Please explain your contributions using a descriptive edit summary. Changing information on Wikipedia (such as numbers and dates) without explanation, as you did at List of highest-grossing media franchises, may be confused with vandalism. Thank you. Source for mileposts

[edit]

What is the source you are using to add mileposts to Wisconsin highway articles? Statistics like the mileposts need to be sourced to be verifiable. Without a citation, no one can really double check your work effectively.

That said, I have a request to WisDOT to get the current State Trunk Highway Log files, and once I receive them, I'll use them to properly update all of the Wisconsin articles in due course. Imzadi 1979  06:53, 6 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What source are you using for these mileposts that you've been adding?
  • On Wisconsin Highway 190, you've got the mileposts running east-to-west (they're normally done west-to-east in official logs) with a length of 24.0 mi on a highway that's 19.58 mi per a supplied source.
  • On Wisconsin Highway 181, you've got a length of 27.7 mi on a highway that's 21.44 mi per a supplied source.
  • On Wisconsin Highway 175, you've got a length of 81.5 mi on a highway that's 51.4 mi per a supplied source.
These are just the three most recent examples. Let's discuss this together. Imzadi 1979  18:18, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Doc Strange. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners.
