Gerhard Robert Everts (Brussels, September 12 1875 - Aldaar, April 30 1942) was a Belgian diplomat.

Robert Everts's father was the Dutch chief consul in Belgium. Robert Everts therefore also had the Dutch nationality, but in 1898 he naturalized as a Belgian. He finished his studies with a doctorate and entered the Belgian diplomatic service.

In 1902 he became a diplomat in Mexico City, in 1906 in Bucharest, in 1909 in Vienna and Paris, in 1910 in Beijing in 1919 in Rome in 1920, again in Beijing, in 1924 in Berlin and from 1932 in Madrid.

On November 15, 1913, he married Alexandra Comnène, the daughter of the Greek merchant Ioannis Michoglou and Angelia Calvocoressi.On May 6, 1906, Greece had given her permission to use the surname of her great-grandfather, Prince of Comnène.

On August 8, 1936, at the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, Everts traveled from his embassy to Saint-Jean-de-Luz.[1] Joseph Berryer took over his business in Madrid and Walter Loridan took over in Valencia (city) and Barcelona (city).
