IMDB Sources

[edit]

I am not happy that there has been an introduction of IMDB sources for the episode section. This article is reliably sourced so I do not see the need to compromise it with a poor choice of source. I suggest removing them to find an alternative.Rain the 1 01:27, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. IMDb is not considered to be a reliable source as anyone can edit it. The site should only really be used in the external links section. None of those episodes have aired, so changes could have been made to them since that info was added to IMDb. – JuneGloom Talk 01:38, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That is exactly the point. Anyone can edit it so they should have never of been added. If you could remove them as I have to go to bed now?Rain the 1 01:41, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. I'll add a link to this discussion in my edit summary too in case anyone else wants to comment. – JuneGloom Talk 02:11, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Episode Synopsis

[edit]

I was just wondering why the edit I made, a 2 line episode synopsis, was removed again, reason given that I cannot copy it from other sites. I'm not familiar with the rules, not trying to be difficult here, I am truly curious. I got the information directly from the network site, the one that airs the series. What better source than that? Perhaps I should have listed the source, granted, but it wasn't from imdb or any fansite or unofficial place or anything like that, but directly from the network that produces the show, ABC1. (I am not from Australia, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and this isn't actually the official network site). Could you show me the page where this rule is written so I can read up on how it works?JustColette (talk) 02:58, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The problem was that they were copied from another website. That is not allowed anywhere because of copyright issues. You must write episode summaries in your own words. You also need to be careful of palgarising sources too - so try to avoid changing the odd word or two and take a fresh approach. Contributors should take steps to remove any copyright violations that they find." - WP:CV.Rain the 1 22:34, 12 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Music for 2014 Janet King

[edit]

Surely the soundtrack deserves explicit mention.180.200.188.198 (talk) 15:44, 10 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you've got some info and reliable sources to back it up, then feel free to add a soundtrack or music section. - JuneGloom Talk 00:50, 11 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Locations?

[edit]

Where is this series supposed to take place? Where was it shot? Phil Wolff (talk) 21:53, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest, I've not really noticed or looked for location info, but I know it's filmed (and set?) in Sydney. The second series was mostly shot in Bankstown according to this: [2]. - JuneGloom07 Talk 00:31, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
