Pablo Vierci (7 July 1950) is a Uruguayan journalist, author and screenwriter. He grew up with many of the people who were involved in the 1972 crash in the Andes mountains, and worked with survivors on his 2009 non-fiction book La Sociedad de la Nieve.[1] Filmmaker J. A. Bayona adapted this book into the 2023 film Society of the Snow.[2]
