The following is a list of currently active military aircraft in the United States Air Force.

F-16 Fighting Falcon United States multirole F-16C 738[1] It is primarily used for interceptor combat and bombing missions.The D type, which is a training aircraft, is listed separately.The breakdown is as follows: 123 F-16C Block 25, 200 F-16C Block 30, 100 F-16C Block 32, 200 F-16C Block 40, and 115 F-16C Block 42.
F-15 Eagle United States air superiority F-15A/C 206[2] The breakdown is 38 F-15As and 168 F-15Cs. Both may be retired with the deployment of the F-22A and F-35A.[1]
F-15E Strike Eagle United States multirole 219[3]
F-15EX Eagle II United States multirole 104(Maximum number of aircraft planned for deployment) As of January 2024, eight aircraft have been deployed.
